Docs is a classic country-western, honky-tonk in the heart of the East Village. Located on popular Avenue A, right across from Tompkins Square Park. It features a great C&W jukebox, charming and friendly bartenders, a pool table and good ol down home barbecue. No country-line dancing, but weekend nights are always a raucous good-time. During the week the regulars sing along to all the songs and buy each other drinks. The owner is a good ol boy from Oklahoma, but Texans are still welcome.
