This club in the heart of the village is one of the places Bob Dylan and other 60's folk legends began their careers. Now the club has two incredible house bands - unusual in that most NYC live rock venues bring in outside acts. Wednesday through Sunday it's mainly rock and r&b. This tight band inspires the packed house to dance in the aisles! Tuesday is the club's famous funk night and it is packed, often with celebrities. You must reserve in advance to see some of the world's best funk. Monday is Brazilian night. Food and drinks are very reasonable.
